Alexander Zverev only has a brother and no sister related by blood. He has previously played on the tennis court alongside his brother, Mischa Zverev. 

The 27-year-old tennis player Alexander Zverev and his brother, Mischa, come from a tennis family.

Their parents, Alexander Sr and Irina Zverev are former tennis parents, having represented the Soviet Union.

Both the brothers have been coached by their father, who was once ranked no.1 in his country. Both the brothers represent Germany on international stages, having been raised there for the majority of their lives.

Alexander is yet to win any Grand Slam tournament since his debut in 2015 but his strive to gain the title never goes off.

He lost in the 2020 Australian Open semi-finals & in the 2020 US Open Finals, both to Dominic Thiem.

It followed his appearance in the semi-finals of the 2021 & 2022 French Open but lost to Stefanos Tsitsipas & Rafael Nadal respectively.

So, the world’s number #22, Alexander is searching for his first title of the year in 2023.

Though, it has not been fruitful to him yet- lost in the second round of the Australian Open to Michael Mmoh & got knocked out by Carlos Alcaraz in Madrid Open.

Alexander Zverev has an older brother in Mischa Zverev. Like, Alexander, Mischa is a tennis player. 

Born on August 22, 1987, Mischa Zvrever is a decade older than his younger brother. And despite the age gap, their brotherly bond remains intact.  

Though born in Moscow, Russia, Mischa represents Germany on international stages. His parents emigrated from Russia to Germany in 1991, and Mischa represents the country where he grew up in his formative years.

Mischa began his professional career in 2006 and achieved his career-high ranking of 25 in 2017. His latest tournament was M25 Monastir and was knocked out by Italy’s Fausto Tabacco in the quarter-finals. 

The older brother of Alexander Zverev has one ATP single title to his name, 2018 Eastbourne International, and has four double titles to his name. Two of those double titles he won partnering with his brother. 

Mischa Zverev Shares 2 Kids With Wife Evgenia

Mischa Zverev married his long-time girlfriend, Evgenia Zverev, in 2017. The couple share two kids, both sons. 

Evgenia Zverev is the founder of the massage studio and beauty salon Oenothera in Monaco. She is available on Instagram with the username @evg.zvereva but has kept her handle private.

The tennis player has tried to show as little as possible of his married life on Instagram. He has also rarely shown his second child on social media pages.

In an interview in 2022, Mischa talked about how fatherhood can bring changes in the life of a tennis player. The topic popped up as he talked about the changes Rafael Nadal will face after becoming a father for the first time in 2022.

Alexander Zverev’s parents, Alexander Zverev Sr and Irina Zverev are a former tennis couple.

His father, Alexander Sr, was born in Sochi, Russia, and represented the Soviet Union in several tournaments. He reached a career-high ranking of 175 and at one point ranked as the no.1 player in his country. 

His mother, Irina Zverev, is also a former tennis player of the Soviet Union but wasn’t allowed to participate much in tennis tournaments.

After the fall of the Soviet Union, the couple traveled to Germany, where Irina received more chances to show her tennis skillset. 

In an interview, Irina said Alexander’s first visit to the tennis court was when he was four days old. Alexander has previously said his parents could’ve achieved greater heights in tennis only if they were born at the right time.
