Beyond his sister, Tyler maintains strong ties with every family member, especially his grandmother, who played a pivotal role in his journey into football.

Despite not having anyone pushing him toward the sport, his grandmother encouraged him to try out for the football team during his high school years at Dutch Fork High School in Irmo, South Carolina.

Remarkably, Tyler’s introduction to football came relatively late, starting in ninth grade.

His passion for the sport did not stem from familial influence or peer pressure; instead, it was a genuine interest sparked by his grandmother’s encouragement.

As he continued to play a football player, Tyler was drafted in the sixth round of the 2020 NFL Draft after a successful college football career at Georgia Southern.
