Family And Friends Mourn The Loss Of Jakob Justus Stallings

His friend, Aaron Soetaert, shared that he was at a loss for words after hearing about the loss of someone who meant so much to him.

He remembered Jakob as a kind and funny person, especially while playing football.

Even though Aaron was one of the team’s smallest, Jakob always ensured he felt included and supported.

I am just speechless. This incredible individual right here was the epitome of kindness and humor growing up. Being one of the smallest on the football team, he consistently demonstrated remarkable compassion, always looking out for me and ensuring my inclusion in all group activities. I am still in awe of the profound impact he had on my life. His legacy will live on in my heart, and I will forever cherish the unforgettable memories we created together playing cowboy football. Though he may be gone too soon, his spirit will continue to inspire me.

Jakob’s sister, Shantay Stallings, shared how heartbroken the family is over his passing.

She spoke about their deep bond and how much she’ll miss his smile, laugh, and fun moments together.

The family has set up a GoFundMe to support Jakob’s wife, Rebecca, and their children during this challenging time.

Brooks Reed shared how heartbroken he feels over the loss of Jakob Stallings, who meant a lot to him.

He mentioned that he usually doesn’t post GoFundMe links, but this time is different because Jakob was truly special.

They used to call him “The S Man”—initially because of his last name, but because he was a real-life Superman to those who knew him.

I usually don’t share gofundme’s but this guy was near and dear too me and feel terrible. What Stalls left behind was legendary. We called him the S man, he thought b/c of his last name but he was really called that b/c he was a real life Superman.

After all, Jakob was the kind of person who would step up for anyone without thinking twice and never ask for recognition.

Last year, he ran into a burning building to help save lives.

Before that, he rescued his young nephew, Wyatt, from drowning.

Acts like these were simply who he was: brave, selfless, and always putting others before himself.
