Frank loved playing golf at a younger age, which changed when he grew up. He decided to pursue Mixed Martial Arts during his teenage years, and he did not look back from that point.

Camacho has excelled in what he does now.

During Camacho’s early career, he participated in various promotions like Rites of Passage, Pacific Xtreme Combat, and Trench Warz. Then he appeared in the Ultimate Fighter 16 in 2012.

How and when did UFC happen for Frank?

As a replacement for an injured fighter, Jonathan Meunier, Frank took his first UFC bout against Li Jingliang in June 2017.

Despite his loss in the first match, he got the UFC Fight of the Night bonus award.

After Frank’s first bout, he participated in UFC Fight Night: Werdum vs. Tybura when he fought against Damien Brown at the end of 2017.

Despite being overweight for the lightweight bout, he won the game by split decision and received his second Fight of the Night bonus award.

However, it did not sound fair to Frank; therefore, he requested the UFC president to give the bonus money to Damien Brown.

In January 2018, Frank participated in UFC on Fox: Jacare vs. Brunson 2, when he lost the match via unanimous decision. However, he earned his third Fight of the Night bonus award.

Moreover, Camacho had to face defeat when he fought against Geoff Neal during UFC 228: Woodley vs. Till in September 2018.  

When he went against Nick Hein during UFC Fight Night: Gustafsson vs. Smith in June 2019, Frank won through Technical Knock-Out (TKO) in the second round.

Another bout brought Camacho a loss which was via submission against Beneil Dariush. Some of his other matches got canceled due to various reasons.

In April 2020, Frank was scheduled to face Matt Frevola during UFC Fight Night: Blaydes vs. Volkov on June 20, 2020. Sadly, after the cornerman tested positive for Covid-19, Frevola was removed from the game.

After Frevola was removed, Frank faced Justin Jaynes. However, he was defeated via a first-round technical knockout.

Frank could not appear in a match during UFC Fight Night 177 on September 12, 2020, due to his Covid-19 infection.

He was all set to face Brok Weaver in that bout, but Jalin Turner replaced Camacho. The MMA artist was again scheduled to fight against Matt Frevola on June 12, 2021, at UFC 263.

However, after suffering from an accident, Frank was withdrawn from the match.

Before UFC Fight Night Waterson vs. Hill, Mariana resident Frank Camacho was tested positive for Covid-19 last September 2020. Due to this, he got removed from the game.
