Jaren played college basketball for the Michigan State Spartans and was selected by the Grizzlies as the fourth overall pick in the 2018 NBA Draft.

This professional basketball player is a keen fashion enthusiast and loves experimenting with his clothes and hair.

Jaren Jackson Jr Hair Transformation And Style

Jaren has black curly hair, which he prefers to keep the medium length at most times. We have never seen him in long hair enough to get into a ponytail, and barely does he get a close cut anywhere else than on the sides.

His go-to hairstyle is a low fade taper haircut, which is perfect for those with curly hair because it helps to tame and control frizz while still allowing the natural curl pattern to shine through.

It particularly enhances Jaren’s tight curls giving them a clean look.

This haircut is characterized by neatly trimming hair on the sides while drawing attention to the top. Taper haircuts give freedom to choose any style, whether a simple Ivy League or a more elaborate hairstyle.

While he makes minor adjustments to the same haircut, there is a limited record of him undergoing any drastic hair transformations.

Career

Jaren studied at Park Tudor School and started his high school career there.

While he was there, he won two IHSAA state basketball championships. He played varsity for three years, averaging 10 points, 6 rebounds, and 3 blocks a game.

He was teammates with the current Pelicans two-way player and former Xavier University standout Trevon Bluiett.

Jaren then got transferred to La Lumiere School for his senior year. There he started playing for their varsity squad.

Jaren was one of the top players in the graduating class of 2017. He was ranked as the fifth-best player nationally, first in his respective position, and second overall in the Midwest region by scout.com.

Similarly, ESPN gave him the eighth position in the ESPN 100, being second in his position as well as regionally.

Jaren, at the age of 18, had already signed a four-year contract with the Grizzlies due to his exceptional performance on the court. The contract was then extended to a multi-year in 2021.

In 2023, Jaren was named to his first All-Star team and won Defensive Player of the Year.

Net Worth

Jaren, as of April 2024, has a net worth of $2 million to $5 million despite being only 24 years of age. It is estimated that he earns a base salary of $27 million annually.

His million-dollar income started after the Grizzlies offered him a four-year contract worth $29.28 million in 2018.

At the age of 20, he had already earned more than what his father had made in his entire life.
