Jered Weaver brother Jeff Weaver is a former baseball pitcher who had a successful career as a professional baseball player.

Jered David Weaver is a retired baseball starting pitcher who had a successful career in Major League Baseball (MLB).

He was chosen in the first round with 12th overall pick of the 2004 MLB draft by the Angels after playing college baseball at Long Beach State.

On May 27, 2006, he made his MLB debut against the Baltimore Orioles. Weaver was at the pinnacle of his potential until he sustained a fractured left elbow in a game in 2013.

However, he made a comeback on May 29, 2013, against the Los Angeles Dodgers.

Over the course of his career, he achieved three All-Star selections and led the American League in wins twice.

His self-doubt continued into his college years, and it wasn’t until his junior year that he started to believe in himself. 

While on the other hand, Jered was naturally born with talent and was good at almost everything.

He excelled effortlessly in various sports, including basketball, baseball, and even surfing.

Gail and Dave are loving parents who never missed a game when their sons Jeff and Jered were playing.

Together, they traveled on numerous road trips to support their boys. Dave, a retired electrical contractor, coached both of his sons since they were young.

In fact, Dave was so dedicated to his son’s game that he followed a special tradition.

Whenever his son had a game, he didn’t eat dinner until the game finishes. This shows Dave’s strong support and dedication to his son’s pitching career.
