Before the end of the contract with Sochaux, Menez transferred to Monaco, a fellow Ligue 1 club. Jeremy signed a four-year contract and got the number 10 for his favorite position, left-winger.

Even though his first appearance was against Rennes, Jeremy scored his first goal against Le Mans.

He suffered from a few injuries during his time with Monaco, due to which he missed months of playing.

In the 77th minute, Menez fell to the ground, and at the same time, FC Lorient midfielder Didier Ndong stepped on the right side of Jeremy’s head with the rugged boot.
