Hodge, the wide receiver, was born in D’Lo in Simpson County, Mississippi, a small town with a population of only 599.

Hodge, an attractive athlete, went to Mendenhall High School and pursued American football as a quarterback. He got named second-team All-State during his senior season.

Then KhaDarel joined Hinds Community College, where a significant change occurred. He transitioned to wide receiver.

Again, KhaDarel changed his college, and he joined Prairie View A&M University, a public black land-grant university where he played three seasons as a wide receiver.

Hodge got lucky with the Browns. The Browns signed him for a one-year contract on April 16, 2020.

Yet, he was on and off from the football field. Due to his injury and COVID 19, he missed most of the games in the second half of 2020.

Finally, on January 14, 2021, KhaDarel was added back to the playing list. However, he was waived by the Browns on August 31, 2021.

After Brown, the professional football player signed with Detroit Lions on September 1, 2021, and is currently playing for the team.
