Kristine Lunde and her twin søster (sister), Katrine Lunde, are handball players and Olympic medalists. Unlike Kristine who is now retired, her sister is still actively playing.
The Norweigan Lunde sisters are among a handful of twins who played & received numerous accolades in their career.

Both Kristine and Katrine have been married and have embraced motherhood.
They shared their handball career journey through Våg Vipers (2004), Aalborg DH (2004-07), and Viborg HK (2007-10). Kristined played as center-back while Katrine plays as a goalkeeper.
The Lunde sisters were inseparable until 2010 before both went to join separate teams.
After seven years, they again united in Vipers Kristiansand, when Kristine made her comeback from retirement for the 2017-18 season to replace Marta Tomac.
Aside from club games, they also represented the Norwegian national team and won Olympic medals, World Championships, and European Championships.

Katrine Lunde, a 5 feet 9 inches (1.80 m) tall handball player, is the fraternal twin of Kristine Lunde-Borgersen. She was born a few minutes earlier than her sister, Kristine.
Born on March 30, 1980, the twin Lunde sisters are 44 years old as of 2024.
Both started their handball career in Norwegian clubs Hånes, Kristiansand, and Våg Vipers. During their professional venture, they shared the same team: Aalborg DH and Viborg HK until 2010.
They even represented their homeland, Norway, in the Olympics and won gold medals in 2008 and 2012.
They last played together in Vipers Kristiansand in the 2017-18 seasons. After that, Kristine retired from her playing career & worked as an assistant coach for the aforementioned team.
On the other, Katrine still actively plays as a handball player. Since 2017, she’s been an active member of the Kristiansand leading the team to five Norwegian League trophies & five Norwegian Cup victories.
Also, Katrine won three consecutive EHF Champions League (2021, 2022 & 2023).
Moreover, with the Norweigan national team, she won the 2021 World Championship, and two European Championships (2020 and 2022).
At 43, the handball goalkeeper was part of the 2023 World Women’s Handball Championship.

Katrine Lunde Is A Divorcee: Shares A Daughter With Her Boyfriend
The Kristiansand, Norway-born handball goalkeeper formerly went by the name Katrine Lunde-Haraldsen. She was married to Norwegian soccer defender Tom Reidar Haraldsen from 2007 to 2013.
After their divorce, she dropped the last name “Haraldsen” and now uses her maiden name “Lunde.”
Currently, Katrine is in a relationship with her long-term boyfriend, Nikola Trajković (b. January 5, 1981). He is a Serbian soccer manager and former player (a midfielder).
As reported, the two began dating in 2012 when the handball player was separated from her now ex-husband and in the process of divorce.
Together, Katrine and Nikola share a daughter named Atina Lunde Trajkovic. She was born on February 28, 2015. The Olympic gold medalist wished her daughter on her 2nd birthday in 2017.
As of 2024, Atina is 9 years old.
