She has showcased her skills throughout her career across numerous independent promotions nationwide.

Recently, Stephen P. New, the legal representative for CM Punk and Ace Steel, highlighted Lucy Mendez in an interview. New emphasized,

Chris Jericho Responds To CM Punk’s/ Ace Steel’s Attorney
Following the 2022 backstage scandal that shook the promotion, Stephen P. New, the attorney who represented Ace Steel and CM Punk after the AEW Brawl Out incident, engaged in a public debate on X (formerly known as Twitter) with Chris Jericho.
Their heated exchange revolves around New’s assertion that Ace Steel’s wife was the sole individual involved in the backstage controversy who did not sign a post-incident confidentiality agreement.
This prompted Jericho to disclose that he witnessed the events of that night but had not signed any Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDAs).
New referenced AEW’s employee handbooks, highlighting their “confidentiality provisions,” and claimed possession of such an agreement. In response, Jericho refuted New’s statement, challenging him to verify the actual facts.
The specifics of the incident remain elusive, but reports suggest a physical altercation occurred involving CM Punk, Ace Steel, Kenny Omega, and The Young Bucks. Consequently, the involved parties faced suspensions, with Steel even losing his position.
Although details remain scarce due to the tight-lipped nature of those involved, Jericho and New’s differing accounts hint at varying interpretations of the events.
Jericho further emphasized his firsthand perspective, stating,
“Because I saw EVERYTHING that night…including how Lucy (and her husband and best buddy) acted and what really went down…and since I was in the room and watching her and everybody else the whole time.”
