NFL Draft: Meet Cody Mauch Parents Joseph and Stacey Mauch

Cody Mauch parents Joseph and Stacey Mauch, raised him in Minnesota. Cody is one of eight children of Joseph and Stacey Mauch. 

The offensive tackle of North Dakota State, Cody Mauch, became the 48th overall selection in the 2023 draft. He will now wear the colors of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

Currently, the 27 years old is the only one in his family to head into the route of professional football. It is to if his two younger brothers will follow him on the same path. 

In the ongoing draft selection, Bryce Young of Alabama was the first overall player to be drafted, followed by CJ Stroud

Cody Mauch Parents: Joseph and Stacey Mauch

Cody Mauch’s parents Joseph and Stacey Mauch, have raised four sons and four daughters. 

The husband and wife duo operate a family farmstead in the south of Mooreton, North Dakota, covering 5,500 acres of land. They are the fourth generation of the Mauch family to take over the business. 

Talking to Latham Hi-Tech Seeds, Joseph and Stacey expressed their happiness in their eldest son, Carter, joining the family business.

Whenever he would find time, Cody would always come by his family farm in his red pickup truck. His parents never pressured Cody to become a professional athlete.

They let him follow what his heart said. The 6 ft 4-inch giant even told his parents he didn’t think he would make it to the college football. 

Joseph and Stacey’s love story began at Hankinson High School as teenagers. And though they went separate ways during their college days, the couple stayed in touch. 

Joseph graduated with a degree from North Dakota State College of Science, and Stacey with a degree in child development and family science from North Dakota State University. 

Stacey, also later studied Elementary Education at Valley City State University. The couple tied the knot on June 22, 1996, and have since been happily married for 26 years. 

Cody Mauch And His Seven Siblings 

Cody Mauch’s parents certainly deserve a round of applause for raising eight kids, four sons and four daughters. 

The couple’s oldest son, Carter Mauch, 25, graduated with a degree in Crop and Weed Science in 2018 from NDSU. He now helps them in their farm business. 

Their daughter, Kya Muach, graduated from Hankinson Public School in 2022. While at Hankison was on the basketball team and would make regular trips to watch her brother play at North Dakota State. 

Jasmin Mauch, their other daughter, has followed in her brother’s footsteps and has joined North Dakota State University. She, like Kya, was a former basketball player in high school.

All their other four siblings, Walker, Damon, Destiny, and Ireland, haven’t even hit the double-digits in age. 

On Instagram, Cody can be seen sharing several family pictures, including that of his siblings around their farm trying to drive their family trucks.
