Mark Edward Martinez Striegl, also known as Mugen, who is now rising in Physical: Asia, has a wife named Zoella Starr Cabuco-Striegl, with whom he shares two children.

Mugen was born in Tokyo, Japan, and raised in the Philippines, where he developed a passion for martial arts from a young age.

He began his professional MMA career in 2009 and quickly gained recognition for his dynamic fighting style, competing in promotions like URCC, ONE FC, and the UFC.

Striegl has also won a gold medal in combat sambo at the 2019 Southeast Asian Games.

Beyond his athletic career, he has recently gained wider fame as a standout competitor on Netflix’s Physical: Asia, where he showcased his strength on an international stage.

Mark’s wife, Starr Cabuco‑Striegl, is a Filipino athlete and professional who formerly played for the Ateneo Lady Eagles volleyball team, competing in the UAAP.

She grew up in or around Baguio, although she is originally from Cavite, and moved to and was raised in Manila before returning to Baguio.

After her athletic career, she took on a role as a school administrator in Baguio while also helping raise the family.

Starr was also involved in professional tennis, which is often featured in her Instagram posts.

Being involved in an athletic career, Satrr appears to be a supportive wife to Mugen, often encouraging and motivating him in his pursuits.

While the exact details of when Starr and Mark started dating are not known, it is known that they first met during a tennis game through a mutual friend.

Eventually, after dating for a time, the couple seems to have tied the knot around 2012.

Following their marriage, they welcomed their first child, a boy, in early 2019, and later they had their second child, a daughter.

Therefore, as of now, Mark and Starr have been living a fulfilling family life with their family of four.
