Williams (fully named Robert Lee Williams III) was born on October 17, 1997, under the star sign of Libra. In Shreveport, Louisiana, he was born to his parents, Robert Fitzgerald Williams and Tundra Williams. 

He also has a sister named Brittani Williams, who majors in recreation, tourism science, and park.

Basketball for Robert Williams was more like a game to ease his pain away in his initial phase. He commenced playing the games in his high school days and has not stopped yet. 

By the end of his high school, Robert had already established himself as the consensus four-star recruit. He became the number one prospect in Louisiana while ranking 50th overall in ESPN’s Top 100 for the class of 2016.

After entering Texas A&M University, Robert bagged both the SEC Defensive Player of the Year and 2nd Team All-SEC honors.

Initially, Robert Williams showed his NBA Draft interest in 2017 but only entered the following year in 2018. Everyone stated him to be a potential lottery pick for the 2017 NBA draft and 2018 NBA drafts.

Boston Celtics 

On July 5, 2018, Robert Williams signed his contract with the Boston Celtics but only made his game debut on October 23, 2018. He did not make up a good reputation during his initial days as he was usually late for his training. 

When things started moving entirely on the pace, his career came to a halt when he struggled with political artery entrapment syndrome (PAES) on both legs. Additionally, Robert has been playing on this condition for a long time. 

By the end of 2021, Robert Williams had not set up his first career triple-double in a 123–108 win over the Phoenix Suns.

Like many other athletes, Robert Williams has also had his share of injuries during his gameplay. He had his major damage in the professional game during the 2018 game in December. 

His knee and lower back have been huge trouble for him throughout his journey. As of his recent news, Robert Williams faced a torn meniscus in his left knee on March 28, 2022. 

Following it, he underwent surgery two days later. Not long after returning from the injury, he again injured his left knee after colliding with Bucks superstar Giannis Antetokounmpo in Game 3. 

Due to this, he did not return to the game until Game 3 of the team’s first-round series against the Brooklyn Nets.
