Cierra Kemp, a high school softball player, lost her parents, Robert and Heather Kemp, to an accident.

The sad news came only a month after she committed to Ouachita Baptist University in October 2023.

Her relatives shared condolences on social media, rallying support and prayers for Cierra during this unimaginably difficult time.

A native of Valley View, Texas, Cierra Briann Kemp is the 2024 class of Valley View High School in her hometown. There, she plays for the varsity basketball and softball teams.

She is a utility player for high school softball & wears a #7 jersey, and plays as jersey number #77 basketball point guard.   

Currently in her late teens, Kemp also plays for softball clubs: Illusions Gold Fastpitch and Ruthless Softball.

In her junior year of high school, she verbally committed to Ouachita Baptist University softball. She aspires to make a name in softball, like Jennie Finch, Dot Richardson, Cat Osterman, and Jessica Mendoza.

The Valley View High School softball player, Cierra, is the daughter of Texas resident late Robert Kemp and his wife Heather Kemp. Both her parents are no more in this world.

They were married on July 17, 2004, and became parents of three children.

Kemp’s father, Robert, worked as a Gas Division Manager with Mabak Directional Drilling in Sanger.

On the other, her mother, Heather, worked as an insurance agent for Gainesville-based Hutcherson Insurance.

According to her Facebook profile, she graduated from Gainesville High School (class of 1996) & later attended North Central Texas College.

Cierra Kemp lost her dad and mom in a fatal bike accident on November 12, 2023.

As reported, her parents were traveling on their motorcycle when a car hit them on County Road 215. They were pronounced dead at the scene.

Born on August 12, 1978, in Denton, Texas, Cierra’s father, Robert, was 45 at the time of his death. Her late mother, Heather, born on December 1, 1979, in Fort Worth, Texas, was 43.

Two days after the demise of her parents, Kemp took to Twitter and shared the heartbreaking news.

She wrote, “At a loss for words. My number one supporters, my day 1s, and my momma and daddy. I promise to continue making y’all proud. I love y’all endlessly.”

May God grant her the strength to navigate this profound loss and find solace amid sorrow.

Cierra Kemp Is One Of Three Siblings; Age And Height

Cierra was born on March 15, 2006, which makes her 18 years old as of 2024. The brown-eyed brunette is 5 feet 4 inches (1.62 m) tall and weighs 120 lbs (54 Kg).

She is the middle child of three. She has an older brother, Quention Ray Ellis, and a younger brother, Kyle Cain Kemp.

Her big brother, Quention, who works at Texoma Harley-Davidson, has been married to Jessica Ellis since May 14, 2023.
