The former Bengals player and his family are dealing with a stalker situation. Houshmandzadeh filed a temporary restraining order against a female fan, asserting that she legally changed her last name to “Houshmandzadeh.”
Houshmandzadeh says that this is due to a years-long “bizarre and extreme obsession” with him.
Talking about the situation, he said that the fan harassed him and his family, going as far as pretending to be the mother of his children online and reaching out to his wife, as per legal documents.
Furthermore, it is alleged that the fan sent harassing mail and personal items to his home, including a letter in which she wrote, “several bullets inscribed with the names of each member of the Houshmandzadeh family.”
The woman behind the harassment is Annette Marie Houshmandzadeh, who used to be Annette Selkirk.
It is said that she was already hit with a restraining order in 2015, but it expired in 2019.
Since the harassment continued, Houshmandzadeh and his family are now seeking a new restraining order to keep her at least 500 yards away from him and his family at all times.
