Terrence Orlando Metcalf, famous as Terrence Metcalf, was born on January 28, 1978, in Clarksdale, United States. His mother’s name was Earlene Metcalf, but nothing about his dad and siblings is known.

Growing up in Clarksdale, Mississippi, Terrence got acquainted with sports from a young age. He attended Clarksdale High School, where he played football and basketball.

Since he was physically strong and of good height, he had no problem earning a spot on the team.

After graduating high school, he enrolled at the University of Mississippi, where he played college football and continued his studies.

Terrence obtained his bachelor’s degree in management from the University in 2001.

As per his Facebook bio, Terrence has master’s degrees from two different universities, namely Trident University International and William Carey University.


Even though Terrence played all kinds of sports with the local boys, his football career took greater heights in school.

The Chicago Bears chose him as the 93rd overall pick of the third round in the 2002 NFL draft. His time with the Bears was fruitful, as he spent five seasons with them before moving to the Detroit Lions.

Metcalf was with the New Orleans Saints in his last NFL season in 2010 before announcing his retirement. However, he was only in practice squads with his last two teams.
