In 2015, Derrick faced allegations of sexual assault made by his former girlfriend, Jared.
Derrick Rose faced allegations of drugging and participating in the rape of his ex-girlfriend.
Jared stated that Derrick invited her to his residence in Beverly Hills, where he was accompanied by his friends Ryan Allen and Randall Hampton.
Allegedly, the three of them had intentions of sexually assaulting her.
She managed to flee from the house. However, Rose and his friends later forced their way into her apartment and sexually assaulted her that same night.
Even though she was raped two years prior, she chose to file a lawsuit later due to feelings of shame and embarrassment.
During the trial, various details about Derrick Rose and the accusations against him were brought to light.
However, the accuser was unable to provide sufficient evidence. On the contrary, they found evidence that showed Jared, Rose’s then-girlfriend, consented to the late-night encounter in 2013.
