Elias David Diaz Soto was born on November 17, 1990, in Maracaibo, Venezuela.
The 35-year-old is a Venezuelan professional baseball catcher who was born to his parents, Ana Soto and Porfirio Diaz.

This foundation helps children in Edo Zulia, Venezuela, where nature destroys houses, businesses, schools, and much more.
Similarly, his foundation also inaugurated the Dining Room in Edo Zulia, where more than 200 children benefit. When Diaz addressed the public, he burst into tears after the excitement of seeing his dream turned into reality, calling it a ‘Cry of Joy.’
Diaz believes that children are our hope for a better future. At Christmas, he dressed up as Santa and handed out Christmas dinner to brighten the lives of more than 300 children.
Last year, the Diaz Foundation helped the community hit by nature by handing out mattresses and bringing smiles to the face of more than 400 families. Additionally, With the help of Colorado Rockies, he hosted a shoe drive collecting new shoes to give to kids in Venezuela and Colorado.
