Josh Selby | Early Life, Family, and Education
Joshua Cornell Selby was born on March 27, 1991, under the Aries sun sign. As a native of Baltimore, Maryland, he was born in a single-parent household to Maeshon Witherspoon.
Indeed, not much is known about his childhood days, and Selby often titles them as “rough times.” His childhood days were tough growing up in a gunfire-filled neighborhood in West Baltimore.
As Witherspoon joined McDonald’s for work, he was left in his grandmother’s house when he was just five.
He would call his mother, scared of the gunfire noises during those tenures, while Witherspoon would leave everything at work and run to him.
Also, growing up to be a middle schooler got more difficult. Back then, as Witherspoon left her old jobs to get a new one, her new works weren’t just in place, due to which she got behind with the rents.
Thus, all she could do was move in with her friends. There, she shared a bed with her friend while Josh shared a bed with two other boys.
As Witherspoon explained herself, in the meantime, Josh was also showing a sign of “street boys.” In simple words, he would often talk about ditching school and skipping curfews.
