Lindsey Vonn Brother: Who Are Dylan And Reed Kildow?

This article was last updated by on

The former World Cup alpine ski racer Lindsey Vonn was raised alongside five siblings, two brothers and three sisters.

Lindsey Caroline Vonn was born in Saint Paul, Minnesota, United States, on October 18, 1984.

Her impressive alpine skiing career includes several world championships and Olympic gold medals.

Vonn began skiing since two years old and was taught to ski by her grandfather, Don Kildow.

Similarly, she met her role model, the Olympic gold medalist Picabo Street, who had a great impression on little Vonn when she was nine.

Eventually, Vonn became one of six women to have won World Cup races in all five disciplines of alpine skiing.

Moreover, Vonn has won 82 World Cup races in her career, which was a women’s record that was not surpassed until recently, in January 2023, by Mikaela Shiffrin.

Lindsey Vonn Brother: Dylan and Reed Kildow

Vonn grew up in the Twin Cities metropolitan area in Burnsville, Minnesota, with five siblings; two sisters, Karin and Laura, and two brothers, Dylan and Reed.

As a matter of fact, Laura and the two brothers, Reed and Dylan, are triplets.

Furthermore, Karin looks strikingly similar to Lindsey, so much so that she’s frequently called Lindsey’s twin.

Vonn and her mom moved to Vail, Colorado, in 1997 so that Vonn could pursue skiing as a career.

Accordingly, Vonn’s dad and the rest of her four siblings, Karin, Reed, Dylan, and Laura, moved to Vail the year after.

Her siblings adjusted to the tight community of Vail, although it was hard for them.

Therefore, she is eternally grateful and has never forgotten the sacrifice that her family made for her.

Meet Brother Dylan

Dylan Kildow is the younger brother of Lindsey Vonn, born on September 16, 1990. He is a family man who has been a wonderful husband to Emily Kildow.

Dylan tied the knot with Emily on December 13, 2014, and has been going strong ever since.

In addition, the couple has four beautiful girls together, Eloise, Madeleine, Penelope, and Juliette Kildow.

Like her other siblings, Dylan was also a member of a Ski Club in Vail. He has always been supportive of Lindsey’s career, and they still get back together often at family gatherings.

Meet Brother Reed

Reed Kildow is the brother of Vonn, who shares the same athletic gene as the Olympic Gold medalist. Like his sister, Reed is also an alpine ski racer.

Reed attended Apple Valley Senior High School and worked at Vail Resorts.

Furthermore, he actively participated in competitive races as a Buck Hill Ski Team and Club member until 2010.

He is not active as of now but goes skiing time and again for pleasure.

Interestingly, he is also a carpenter and has worked at a company named Nedbo in Denver Metropolitan Area.

In the light of his Instagram bio, Reed likes to call himself a wannabe architect, mixologist, snow scientist, cowboy, and R&B singer.

He seems like an adventurous person who loves expeditions. His Instagram feed is filled with many of those, like rafting, skiing, hunting, cycling, hiking, and riding a snowmobile.

Reed often visits public events with his sister, Vonn, and family. For instance, he attended the premiere of his sister’s movie “Lindsey Vonn: The Final Season.”
