A British former professional boxer, Nicola Adams, was born on 26 October 1982. She competed professionally from 2017 to 2019 but ended up her boxing career with an undefeated record and held the WBO female flyweight title in 2019.

Nicola Adams represented Haringey Police Community Club at boxing as she has made her gender public of being gay. She was also identified as the most prominent LGBT person in Britain by the Independent in 2012. She is on the list of most influential African/African-Caribbean descent in the UK.
