Starting with the basics, Ventell was born on August 24, 1996, to his parents, Luz Lebron and Oscar Bryant, in Tampa, Florida.

High School Career

Talking about his high school career, there is no such details strike on the internet. But yes, as a junior, he grabbed six receptions for 62 yards.

And following that, Ventell assisted the team with a 10-2 record and made it to the FHSAA 6A playoffs. 

Ventell notched 34 receptions for 756 yards (20.7-yard avg.) and 11 touchdowns and bagged All-Western Conference honors.

He went to a great high school in Tampa that has shaped a phenomenal talent like him and produced numerous other athletes.

To name a few, Andre Davis was on Tampa Bay Buccaneers’ roster when Ventell was a redshirt freshman. So was Chris Moore, who was drafted in 2016 by Baltimore Ravens.

He then soon got a chance to explore his football career when he received a football scholarship from Temple University.

Similarly, he started out as a redshirt freshman and became a starter at wide receiver in the third game against the University of Massachusetts Amherst.

Ventell scored 39 receptions for 579 receiving yards and set the school records for his freshman season.

He stood the team’s second-leading receiver, the first being Robby Anderson and also made three touchdowns. 

Following that, Ventell headed his squad with 54 receptions for 895 yards. The American player was second on the team with four receiving touchdowns.

Not only that, but he also assisted his team in winning the Athletic American Conference title. He made five receptions for 94 yards against the University of Central Florida.

Ventell came out of his college as the school’s all-time leading receiver with 173 receptions for 2,444 yards.

Cincinnati Bengals

Well, luck must not have favored him not to get selected in the 2019 NFL draft after such an excellent collegiate career.

But soon then, he received a tryout invitation for Cincinnati Bengals rookie-minicamp. As a result, he was further omitted on August 31, 2019.

Dallas Cowboys

Ventell joined Dallas Cowboys’ practice squad on September 2, 2019. Later, he was upgraded to the active roster position in order to replace the injured core special team player Kavon Frazier.

He was called to be on special teams and notched his first two career special teams tackles in Week 7 against the Philadelphia Eagles.

Well, with god’s grace on Thanksgiving day, Ventell made his first career pass for a 15-yard touchdown from Dark Prescott. Following that, he was assigned to the injured reserve list on September 7, 2020. 

Ventell made a comeback from the injured reserve list on October 7 and resumed his squad practice session. 

Carolina Panthers

Ventell made yet another move and joined Carolina Panthers’ practice squad on December 14, 2020. The wide receiver inked a reserve/ future contract with the Panthers on January 4, 2021.

The news made rounds when the police caught Ventell drinking and driving without headlights on in his hometown Tampa, Florida, on March 11, 2020, at around 2:30 am.

As per the police report, Ventell smelled like alcohol, and on the other hand, Ventell did admit to having “three margaritas” before driving.

Further, the police took his breath test, and he was found to have a blood content level of more than .08. It was .102 and .109, which ultimately exceeded the state legal limit.
